Holger Hetzel: I think it’s the atmosphere. Our auction is a meeting
place for the show jumping family. Guests come here from all over
the world, yet the event always has a warm, personal and almost
familiar feel. We all know each other, we look forward to seeing each
other and many people return year after year. Everyone is greeted
with a smile, everyone feels welcome. There’s a special kind of
community spirit and closeness that you wouldn’t necessarily expect
to find at an international event of this size and that’s precisely what
gives the auction evening its unique flair. The whole thing is only
possible thanks to our extraordinary team. Most of them have been
with us for decades and we really are like one big family.

How important is the auction for What does this anniversary mean to you personally?
